Annual Membership Renewal - Overdue
All memberships expired on December 31, 2025. Please renew your membership now by logging into the CPTEA website. Membership fees for educators are $100 annually. If you have any questions or challenges with renewing, you can contact the Finance and Membership Coordinator. Please note, if your membership renewal does not process correctly, do not create a new membership. Reach out to the Finance and Membership Coordinator for assistance. Membership renewal is required to keep receiving member communications such as this newsletter.
Final Call - PEBC/CPTEA Educator Award 2026 Nominations
This is the final call for PEBC/CPTEA Educator Award. Members can nominate themselves or other CPTEA members. Please consider nominating someone you know that is doing great things in pharmacy technician education. The recipient of the award will receive travel expense coverage to attend the CPTEA Conference in Kitchener-Waterloo in May 2026. Nominations will remain open until March 1, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact a CPTEA council member.
Final Call - CCAPP Pharmacy Technician Program Committee (PTPC) – Private Colleges
CPTEA is seeking an individual to represent our association on the CCAPP Pharmacy Technician Program Committee (PTPC) – Private Colleges. If interested, please forward your letter of interest and resume to Sue Pfeifer at president@cptea.ca. The deadline for submission is February 27, 2026.
CPTEA Conference Update
Planning is well underway for the 2026 CPTEA Conference in Kitchener-Waterloo on May 27- 29, 2026. More information and conference registration will be available soon. At this time, we would like to share the planned costs so members can apply for the appropriate funding. The conference fee will be $250 for current CPTEA members and $375 for non-members. Hotel costs will be $155 to $165 per night per room. Parking and high-speed internet are included in the nightly rate. Please share this information within your professional circles so non-members are also aware.
