Just a quick note that the deadline for the IPPC Scholarship is coming up this week on June 21.  If you’re able to send a reminder email around to your networks, that would be fantastic!

On behalf of the Indigenous Pharmacy Professionals of Canada (IPPC) and the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA), we wanted to let you know that the application process for the second annual Indigenous Pharmacy Scholarship is now open!

The Indigenous Pharmacy Scholarship is now available for students who identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit and are enrolled in or accepted to PharmD and pharmacy technician programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. There are 2 PharmD and 3 pharmacy technician scholarships available this year, and the deadline to apply is June 21, 2024.

Information and eligibility criteria can be found at https://www.pharmacists.ca/pharmacy-in-canada/ippc/indigenous-pharmacy-scholarship/ and https://www.pharmacists.ca/la-pharmacie-au-canada/papc/programme-de-bourses-autochtones-en-pharmacie/?lang=fr.

Your support and partnership in promoting the availability of this scholarship would be greatly appreciated. We have included a poster (en|fr) and graphic (en|fr) that we hope you will share with your faculty, students and networks, and we encourage you to follow IPPC and CPhA on our social media channels to share our posts about the scholarship.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, and we thank you in advance for your support.

Thank you!
