Our Mission

The Canadian Pharmacy Technician Educators Association (CPTEA) is the national organization of Pharmacy Technician Educators established to lead, advance, support, and promote excellence in pharmacy technician education.

CPTEA brings together teaching faculty and college administrators from accredited Pharmacy Technician programs across Canada. We are a community of dedicated educators committed to shaping the future of pharmacy technician education at a national level.

What We Do

• Foster and promote excellence in pharmacy technician education across Canada
• Provide opportunities for exchange of ideas and discussion among pharmacy technician educators
• Encourage high uniform standards of education for pharmacy technician programs nationwide
• Act in an advisory capacity for stakeholders in the development and evaluation of accreditation standards
• Connect educators, administrators, and stakeholders through our annual conference and AGM

CPTEA members represent pharmacy technician programs from coast to coast — from British Columbia to Newfoundland. Together we work to ensure that pharmacy technician education in Canada remains relevant, rigorous, and responsive to the evolving needs of the profession.
